The Birth of Spyda Records
Spyda Records was formed by Ben "Fizzer" Fisher in October 2005. His idea was to create a hip hop record label
where he would create his own beats, rap over them and make his own albums. He started making beats and started to record
with one of his school friends, Carl "Shakes" Hodgson. Before they managed to release anything, Fisher
and Hogson went there seperate ways. Shakes stopped with the recording but Fizzer continued writting lyrics, the only
problem was, Shakes was the one with the computer. But things took a change in one geography lesson when Ben was sitting
next to Adam "Fatal" Machin. Adam had never rapped before, but Fizzer started freestyling with him. Fizzer
immediatly liked Fatals style and ability, and before long they were writting songs together. The first song they wrote
together, entitled "Fatal Fizzer" promotes Spyda Records, and talks about guns, violence and drugs, as well as having
a stab at one of their school piers, Phil Doorman - "You wana smoke a fag? Thats a fag as in Phil Doorman, this
is your consience, Phil Doorman hard? Thats nonsence."
